Please use this guide if you experience an issue with one of our equipment rentals.
The equipment won’t run or drive.
There are many reasons why the equipment might not be working. First please make sure to check the battery. Check and make sure that the battery is connected to the equipment.
The scooter is fully charged but will not run.
Possible reasons why the rental equipment does not work even when the battery is fully charged:
• The key is not in the scooter.
• The key is not inserted correctly.
• Make sure the manual freewheeling switch (lever) is in the off position. Only keep this on to push the scooter manually.
• Circuit breaker needs to be reset.
The battery meter dips very low when I press throttle.
The batteries might have a very low charge. Charge your battery fully before continuing to operate the scooter.
The scooter hesitates or runs slowly even when I press the throttle fully.
There are many reasons why this may be happening:
- Low battery charge.
- Operating slow on an inclined surface.
- Scooter is at maximum capacity (when a rider is almost to it maximum capacity weight the equipment might be going slower than normal)
